“She was vaccinated but was infected by others who chose not to be. The cost was her life,” reads the obituary written by the family of an Illinois woman, Candace Cay Ayers, who was only 66.

The family places the blame on the unvaccinated.

Though Ms. Ayers was fully vaccinated she caught a breakthrough infection — most likely from an unvaccinated person not wearing a mask — and died Sept. 3rd.

“She was preceded in death by more than 4,531,799 others infected with Covid’ read the obit,  referring to the worldwide Covid death toll.

“Mom was a fighter… and mom was so angry at people for not getting vaccinated and not wearing a mask,” her son, Marc Ayers, 36, told USA Today.
