In Melitopol, which is now being held by the Russians, buses evacuating citizens qued up. The Mayor of the city posted on Facebook a sad commentary.
“Melitopol residents, who sincerely love their native land, were looking forward to the opportunity to leave it. It’s because the Russian occupiers turned the lives of peaceful people into hell. For several days, the Russian military defiantly blocked the ‘green’ [humanitarian] corridor and did not allow buses to enter Melitopol.”
Meanwhile, The Russian military allegedly stole about 14 tons of humanitarian aid headed to Kyiv which is running out of food, water, and medical supplies. The Red Cross on the ground in Ukrainian is desperately trying to get aid to the besieged cities.
