This bombshell dropped Thursday night; Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen reportedly was with Trump when Don Jr. called to tell him about the Russian offer to give them campaign dirt on Hillary Clinton. Not only that, Trump — who has repeatedly has said he didn’t know anything about the Russian meeting — approved going ahead with the meeting.
Cohen told CNN he will tell the tale to special counsel Robert Mueller. IF this is indeed the case, it may be the smoking gun in the Russian investigation AND may be enough to kick-start impeachment proceedings.
No surprise that Trump has been tweeting furiously since the news broke.
