This after a Trump lawyer swore that a  ‘diligent search’ produced all the requested documents and they had turned over all the classified files taken from the White House.

Some were marked ‘TOP SECRET//SCI’ with bright yellow borders and one was marked as ‘SECRET//SCI’ with a rust-colored border.

Officials reported they were ‘likely concealed and removed’ from a padlocked storage room where Trump’s lawyers had said they were all kept together.

‘The government also developed evidence that government records were likely concealed and removed from the Storage Room and that efforts were likely taken to obstruct the government’s investigation,’ the filing states.

Remember, during that June 3 FBI visit, the filing says, Trump’s lawyers told investigators that all the records that had come from the White House were stored in one location – a Mar-a-Lago storage room – and that ‘there were no other records stored in any private office space or other location at the Premises and that all available boxes were searched.’

The DOJ has rejected Trump’s argument that he calls ‘declassified all the documents’ stating that Trump’s lawyers ‘never asserted that the former president had declassified the documents or asserted any claim of executive privilege.’
