Katie Zacharia is having a very bad week.
After less than seven days on the job, Trump’s personal pick for White House press secretary has been let go.
After a disastrous first press briefing, which lasted only 14 minutes (the average briefings by her predecessor, Leavitt ran 45 minutes) she also told reporters she had passed the bar exam when she moved to China.
As it turns out, she never passed the bar, which must have been a surprise to Trump, who referred to her as “an attorney.”
Misrepresenting or outright lying about credentials is common in Trump’s administration but she threw Trump under the bus when pushed on her lie, and she said the president had never asked her if she was a lawyer.
