5 years ago today on International Women’s Day, ‘The Fearless Girl ‘statue (created by Kristen Visbal) stood defiantly in front of the New York Stock Exchange bull, but around her was artfully placed broken glass, a clever play on ‘breaking the glass ceiling.’
Created by Merica May Jensen and glass expert Sophie Pennetier, the installation was not permanent, but an evocative reminder of how far women still have to go
