Trump has told New York Senator Chuck Schumer he would release funding for the city’s transportation upgrades, but only if the senator renamed Penn Station and Dulles International Airport after him.
So far, Trump has added his name to the Kennedy Center, a fleet of battleships and created the ‘Institute of Peace’ in his honor.
Leveraging the $16 billion earmarked for much-needed transportation upgrades in the Big Apple, Trump hopes to get his name on more infrastructure projects. Some would call it ‘blackmail.’
