‘Three’s Company’ star Suzanne Somers died this past weekend at age 76 after battling cancer.

Initially known for her role as a ditzy blonde on ‘Three´s Company,’ she was fired from the popular sitcom when she asked for equal pay with her male co-star, John Ritter.

The savvy businesswoman went on to a successful career as an entrepreneur (remember the ‘Thigh Master?’) with eventually over 500 products bearing her name. In her spare time, she penned over 25 books.

Sadly, her breast cancer came back. Her loving husband Alan Hamel wrote just before her death:

“Suzanne and I just returned home from the Midwest where Suzanne had six weeks of intensive physical therapy,” wrote the former TV host  “Even after our five decades together, I still marvel at Suzanne’s amazing determination and commitment.”

She was a life force, indeed.
