A GoFundMe page for Ralph Yarl, a Black teenager who was shot twice last week after reportedly going to the wrong address to pick up his brothers, raised more than $3 million in just over two days.
The GoFundMe page was organized by Yarl’s aunt but then picked up by celebrities such as Viola Davis.
The $3.2 million will go toward Yarl’s medical bills and any additional funds will go into his college fund.
