More than 1,200 law professors signed a letter calling on the Senate to reject Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the Supreme Court. At least 17 are from Yale Law School, Kavanaugh’s alma mater.
In the letter, they wrote that Kavanaugh ‘did not display the impartiality and judicial temperament’ required for the Supreme Court at the Judiciary Committee hearing last week.
It also says Kavanaugh gave ‘intemperate, inflammatory’ responses and was ‘discourteous’ to senators.
Shared in a New York Times op-ed on Wednesday, it will be sent to the Senate on Thursday.
