The new, magical hero ingredient for anti-aging skincare is peptides, which are showing up in most new formulations. BUT check the ingredients list because many serums/creams only have a minuscule amount which won’t show any results.

We tried the new Kate Somerville Kx Active Concentrates, ($98) a high-performance serum chock full of peptides. While the site claims that in one week 97% of women reported their skin appeared visibly tighter, it took us almost two weeks to see a noticeable difference, but hey, we’ll take that!

Formulated with a complex of 5 peptides that are bio-identical, with synthetic growth factors we found it also diminished some fine lines around our eyes and mouth.

Though it’s pricey at $98 a little goes a long way — only use a couple of drops — and well worth the results.
