A whiny Trump had hinted that he might go play golf in Scotland instead of attending Biden’s inauguration. Fueling this rumor was the news that the Glasgow airport was reportedly told to expect a plane with a ‘special call sign,’ though clearly, Trump forgot he won’t be able to catch a ride on Air Force One after January 20th.
Responding to the request, the PM of Scotland, Nicola Sturgeon warned Trump that the country is in a lockdown and travel to the country is prohibited unless it’s for an essential purpose.
The P.M. added dryly: ‘Coming to play golf is not what I would consider to be an essential purpose.’
