Leave it to the Moms. In Portland, a group of mothers — a ‘Wall of Moms’ — formed a human barrier between protestors and police singing ‘hands up, please don’t shoot me.’
After police started tear-gassing peaceful protestors, the yellow-shirted Moms took to the street. Now, a group of fathers (in orange shirts) have joined them.
Portland has been the scene of daily protests since George Floyd’s death in Minneapolis on May 25.
