Imagine you’ve Facetimed your best friend and even before they pick up, you can hear the conversation: “God, Tiffany is so high maintenance!’ (Yes, in this scenario you’re ‘Tiffany.’)

Due to a privacy bug in Apple’s FaceTime software, users can hear and sometimes even see the person they’re calling without the recipient being the wiser. Imagine the havoc!

While we expect a fix later this week from Apple, if you want to disable FaceTime on your Apple device, here’s how:

1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad2. Scroll down and select FaceTime3. Toggle off the green button at the top of the screen. To turn it off on a Mac, follow these steps:1. Open the FaceTime app2. Go to FaceTime on top of the screen3. Select “Turn FaceTime Off.”

You don’t want to call your Mom and accidentally over hear her talking to Dad about ‘sexy time’ do you?
