In a day many people thought would never come, former President Trump was just charged with 34 felony charges, including falsifying business records. He is the first President in history to be charged with a crime. (Each count carries approximately 4 years of jail time.)

Unfortunately, Prosecutor Chris Connolly did not request a gag order but admonished Trump for  ‘threatening communications,’ notably his post predicting ‘death & destruction.’

A grumpy-looking Trump only spoke once, to say ‘Not guilty.’
