After Michigan certified the election for Joe Biden today, Trump finally said he would allow the presidential transition to take place, but that it didn’t mean he was conceding. Trump appointee Emily Murphy, the administration official who was holding up the process, officially sent the formal letter to Biden and his team late Monday.

This frees up 63 million in federal funds and means Biden can now be included in the security briefings and has access to all the government data on COVID.

By delaying the transition, Trump put the country and its populous in danger. Again, Trump does not need to concede for Biden to take over on January 20th. It’s a mere formality.
