Meghan Markel confirmed the news that her father, Thoms Markle, is recovering from a heart operation and will not be well enough to fly to England to walk her down the aisle at her upcoming wedding.
In a statement, the bride-to-be said: ‘I’ve always cared for my father and hope he can be given the space he needs to focus on his health.’
In his hospital statement, Mr. Markle said: ‘Staying in hospital a few more days. Not allowed to get excited.’
So once again we’re back where we started: Who will walk Meghan down the aisle?
Meanwhile, the rehearsal today seems to have gone swimmingly, judging by the few photos released.
