A satirical Facebook event titled “Storm Area 51, They Can’t Stop All of Us” –which many people took to be a real event — asked people to mobilize at the US Air Force base in Lincoln County, Nevada, to ‘overtake the building’ and reveal the “secrets” it keeps.
For years, Area 51, has fascinated conspiracy theorists who believe that’s where the government stores secret information about UFO’s and keeps ‘aliens’
“We can move faster than their bullets,” the Facebook page says, hinting at Area 51’s strong security. Facebook has since taken the posts down.
