By now you may have heard of the furor in Florida (of course, it’s Florida) where parents at a grade school are trying to get the principal to resign after children were ‘upset’ by images of Michelangelo’s David shown in their sixth-grade history class.

One parent even branded the statue ‘pornographic,’ and said they wished they had ‘been informed ahead of time’ that their children would be shown such images.

The famous statue is acknowledged to be one of the world’s greatest pieces of art.

And the satirical Simpson’s show already spoofed Marge wanting the entire town — especially the school children — to see the statue.
