Anti-Kavanaugh protestors forced Senator Ted Cruz and his wife to flee an upscale Washington restaurant Monday after heckling him and confronting the Texas Republican on his views on  Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

In one video, some of the activists confront the Texas Republican and his wife, Heidi, as the couple makes their way to a table at Fiola, an Italian restaurant near the Capitol building.
As the chanting grows more intense, the Senator and his wife turn around and walk quickly out of the restaurant as the crowd breaks into cheers.
As of today, the videos have received more than 1.2 million views since they were posted late Monday.
