When you think of ringing in your child’s first year around the sun, do Gucci claw machines, the filming of a reality show, Bob Baker Marionette’s, a ball pit as big as a studio apartment, a doughnut wall, and a life-size fire truck ‘for play purposes’ come to mind? It did for the Chiu family and their Baby G’s first birthday bash!
While the setting for this party could have easily been a scene from Crazy Rich Asians, the philanthropic angle is what gives this baby’s 1st birthday party the edge.
The Chiu family are (clearly) not coy in the display of their abundance, but nor are they with the sharing of their wealth too. In honor of Baby G’s 365 days earth side, famed plastic surgeon Dr. Gabriel Chiu and his wife – noted couture collector, investor, and Beverly Hills Socialite – Christine Chiu, donated $1 million to the newly renovated Cayton Children’s Museum in Los Angeles aka the ultimate gift that will keep on giving in honor of their first born. How’s that for a legacy, Baby G?!

While the kids enjoyed the explosion of sensory glory at Baby G’s party, so did a famous face or two. Teddi Mellencamp was spotted enjoying the Gucci claw machine (who can blame her?), while Kardashian makeup-artist Joyce Bonelli mingled with Million-Dollar-Mommy Christine Chiu.
