During an interview with NBC’s Andrea Mitchell, Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats reacted with shock to the just-tweeted news that Trump wants to invite Russian President Vladimir Putin to the White House in the fall.
‘Say that again? Did I hear you?’ he said upon learning the news, which White House press secretary Sarah Sanders announced on Twitter.
‘Okay,’ Coats said with emphasis. ‘That’s going to be special.’
