When Forever 21 announced they were closing most of their brick-and-mortar stores many of us feared for Riley Rose, the curated beauty section within the stores that sold beauty finds from all different brands. (Afterall, the beauty store was started by the two women who launched Forever 21.)

And now that the Riley Rose website is closed as well, with a blaring sign reading ‘WE’VE MOVED,’ it’s good news today to hear that the site will be resurrected under the Forever 21 website banner AND a ‘Beauty by Riley Rose’ will pop up in a few of the remaining stores. (At this time, they haven’t announced which stores will get the beauty section.)

If you’re not familiar with Riley Rose it’s like beauty heaven, with products ranging in price from a couple of dollars to the $80 Peter Thomas Roth 24K Gold Mask.
One of our favorite finds is the Winky Lux flower balm lipstick which appears clear but then combines with lips’ natural pH-levels to bloom into a uniquely ‘you’ pigment. Only $14. Better than any lip balm and twice as pretty. We bought a bunch of these for our girlfriends for holiday gifts. Perfect, right?
Then there’s the must-have ‘Lime Crime’ Venus XL gorgeous Eyeshadow Palette ($58) with every color you’d ever want.
As a (lucky) beauty editor, we get everything — or so we thought until we checked out some of the brands at Riley Rose.

Lemonhead, Lime Crime Sigma BeautyHipDot, Briogeo, Carboodles…just to name a few finds.

So head on over to Beauty by Riley Rose at the Forever 21 website to find some last-minute holiday gifts — and maybe a few things for yourself. We hear you’ve been VERY good this year.
