In a recently discovered video, Oregon state representative, Republican Mike Nearman, is shown giving tips to the Capitol rioters and later, opening a locked door to give them access to the building.

According to the resolution, Nearman “engaged in disorderly behavior” and an independent investigator found that Nearman “intentionally aided demonstrators in breaching Capitol security and gaining unauthorized access to the Capitol, leading to injury and property destruction.”

Given the loss of life and damage caused in the ensuing insurrection, shouldn’t he be criminally charged as well?
