Did you know that over 48 million low-income families struggle to pay for Intent access – if they can afford it at all?

Yesterday, President Biden called high-speed internet is a “necessity” –‘ Just Like Your Grandpa Having A Telephone’ — and passed a bill that will force 20 internet providers (including At&T, Comcast, and Verizon) around the country to cut prices to $30 a month for households that qualify — and increase speeds.

“High-speed Internet is not a luxury any longer. It’s a necessity,” President Biden said in remarks announcing the program at the White House Rose Garden.  “But too many families go without high-speed internet because of the cost, or have to cut back on other essentials to make their monthly internet service payments.”
