Monday, Biotech company Moderna announced an agreement with the Vaccine Alliance, to supply up to 500 million Covid-19 vaccines to hard-hit struggling countries such as India.

Pfizer is also donating more than $70 million worth of medicines to India. India has also received 150,000 doses of Russia’s Sputnik V vaccine.

Partnering with COVAX, a global initiative to buy coronavirus vaccines in bulk and send them to poorer nations, the push is on to bring down COVID infections around the world which is the only way any of us will be safe.
