Part of a decommissioned jumbo jet that was transformed at the 2017 Burning Man into a party plane just made the — slow– trip to the Vegas strip.

The cockpit and section of the fuselage of the Boeing 747 were towed Wednesday from a spot at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in the city to a nearby entertainment district known as AREA15.

Mechanics, architects, welders, and electricians have toiled in the  Mojave desert salvaging an abandoned 1985 Boeing 747 commercial airplane for what they are calling the “largest moving art experience ever made.”

Organizers say the jet will be transformed into an event and nightlife venue at AREA15.

As you can see in the photos, the plane has been completely hollowed out and now has a nightclub vibe. Swanky couches and lounge chairs have replaced uncomfortable airplane seats.

A portion of the ceiling towards the front of the plane has been removed entirely, turning part of the plane’s upper deck into an open outdoor rooftop area, which is bound to be the most popular area.

Since the creators want to make this an interactive experience they are asking passengers before they board  to create an ‘Emotional Baggage Tag’ by writing down an answer to the question, “What baggage do you need to lose?”

There is also a boarding pass component that asks, “Where are you going?” Participants write down their answers with a marker and post them up on a wall with the others. Fun.
