Feel like a billionaire with your own private jet.
A Boeing 727, said to have been owned by Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar, has been converted into an Airbnb in Bristol, England.
Naturally, there’s all the trappings — a hot tub, sauna, gold-plated toilet, plus two double bedrooms with ensuite toilets and showers. Up to four people can stay per night.
The private jet is located in an industrial area in Bristol, but it’s not as if guests will be exploring the neighborhood once they’re ensconced in the jet.
An entrepreneur, Johnny Palmer, brought the 57-year-old aircraft in 2020 before moving it to an industrial estate in Bristol after removing the wings and engine but leaving the original cockpit intact.
Fancy.
According to Palmer, business is ‘booming,’ and the plane is used most days of the week. He even has plans to find another jet so he can have a “fleet” of grounded jets.
