Arguments were made on both sides as a federal appeals panel convened to debate the limited gag order in former President Donald Trump’s federal election subversion case.

While none of the three judges accepted Trump’s claims that the gag order should be completely lifted as his lawyers argue that it is a “categorically unprecedented” violation of his free speech rights, they did entertain the idea of a less harsh gag order.
