Jon Stewart opened his segment by saying he wanted to “check in on our good friend democracy,” which Trump continues to threaten.
A news clip then played reported that Trump is “considering his options to serve a third term in office, a breach of the constitution’s two-term limit for president.”
“I’m sorry, considering the option?” Stewart exclaimed. “What, are you trying to order off-menu from the constitution? ‘I see you have two terms, but can I get it animal style?’”
