Katy Perry retired from ‘American Idol” after seven seasons.
On Sunday night’s live “Idol” season finale, singers did a medley of her greatest hits, and the songstress also performed, wearing a dress silver corset dress with a massive skirt emblazoned with the faces of 168 former Idol contestants — the top 24 from each of the seven seasons that the singer was a judge. Reportedly, it took eight people to carry the dress onto the stage, where she stood on a tall platform.
“I thought a good way to honor my time here would be to put the top 24 of each season on my skirt so they were all there. It was a fun surprise because I was raising up and you just saw more and more contestants,” the “Firework” singer said after the show.
