Johnson & Johnson announced Thursday that it is voluntarily recalling five of its most popular Aveeno and Neutrogena sunscreens in the US after discovering they contain low levels of a cancer-causing chemical.
Here are the ones they are taking off the market:
- Neutrogena Beach Defense
- Neutrogena Cool Dry Sport
- Neutrogena Invisible Daily
- Neutrogena Ultra Sheer
- Aveeno Protect + Refresh.
The company said that they contain trace amounts of a carcinogen called benzene and is recalling the products “out of an abundance of caution.”
