Do you remember that moment at the Golden Globes when host Ricky Gervais happily insulted Mel Gibson, made fun of the celebs in the room and cracked rude jokes?

Weeeell, we’ll get to experience it all again when the comedian, show creator (The Office) and actor hosts the awards show for the fifth time.

His statement read: ‘Once again, they’ve made me an offer I can’t refuse. But this is the very last time I’m doing this, which could make for a fun evening’.

Prepare yourself for more of these zingers:

– ‘Looking at all the wonderful faces here today reminds me of the great work that’s been done this year – by cosmetic surgeons.’

– ‘The Golden Globes… doesn’t just celebrate talent, it celebrates difference. It crushes prejudice and stereotype. One stereotype I hate is that all Irishmen are just drunk, sweary hell-raisers. Please welcome Colin Farrell.’

As you surely remember, both the Oscars and Emmys were host-less but this January Gervais is sure to entertain. Let’s hope it’s not really his last time.
