As a rare Hurricane barreled through California, the natives were treated to a more familiar phenomenon — a 5.1 earthquake.

 

16 million people from Southern California northward to Idaho are still under flood watches and the desert town of Palm Springs is completely cut off, with most without power.

In L.A. all schools were closed and some areas are under evacuation orders, particularly in the burn areas.
