In this ripped-from-the-headlines FX show, Feud: Capote vs. The Swans follows its 2017 debut season.

In the new trailer, Capote (Tom Hollander) writes an expose of his privileged female friends in a thinly thinly-veiled article for Esquire …and is surprised when they cut him off. Reportedly, Capote never recovered from being ostracized.

The Ryan Murphy (who else?) produced limited series features an A-list cast to portray 1970s New York’s elite glamorous society women, including Demi Moore, Calista Flockhart, Diane Lane, Naomi Watts, and Chloe Sevigny.

Much like today’s reality TV show ‘Housewives,’ these society women, nicknamed ‘Swans’ wield perceived power like knives.

The first two episodes of Feud: Capote vs. The Swans premiere Jan. 31 at 10 p.m. ET on FX.
