‘We stand in strong solidarity with CNN’, said  Fox News after Bill Shine – who had been the co-president of Fox New, when the new Communications Director banned Kaitlan Collins from CNN from the ‘open press’ briefing.

Citing her questions earlier where she had asked about Trump and Russia and also the tapes recorded by the President’s former lawyer, Michael Cohen, Shine banned her from the next press briefing.

‘They said that the questions I asked were inappropriate for that venue. And they said I was shouting,’ explained the reporter.

Collins said she responded: ‘You’re banning me from an event because you didn’t like the questions I asked.’

‘We stand in strong solidarity with CNN for the right to full access for our journalists as part of a free and unfettered press,’ said FOX President Jay Wallace.

Like this boss, Shine doesn’t seem to believe in freedom of the press.
