First Lady Dr. Jill Biden just sent Michelle Obama a lovely, personal gift…a huge basket of veggies from the White House Kitchen garden which Ms. Obama planted in 2009.
As part of her initiative to get families and especially children to eat healthy, the then First Lady planted a 2,800 square foot garden on the South Lawn. Fortunately, Melania didn’t rip out the garden when she moved in …though she did destroy Jackie Kennedy’s rose garden.
