President-elect Joe Biden has made ramping up vaccine delivery part of his immediate goal in his first 100 days in office. Now Dr. Fauci enthusiastically supports Biden’s goal, saying delivering 100 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine within the first 100 days of his presidency “is absolutely a doable thing.”

On  NBC’s “Meet The Press”, Fauci explained that two new vaccines under development by AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson could “very soon” be presented to U.S. regulators for approval, which would increase the pace of vaccinations. “We’re weeks away, not months away, for sure,” he said.

And the good doctor added, as he always does, that avoiding crowds and wearing a mask is the best way to prevent the spread of COIVD.
