Wednesday Kate Middleton released a photo she took in 2018 of the Queen and the  Duke of Edinburgh and with their seven great-grandchildren.

The caption read: ‘Today we share, along with Members of the Royal Family, photographs of The Duke of Edinburgh, remembering him as a father, grandfather and great-grandfather.’

The Duke’s low-key funeral (which is what he wanted) will be held at 3 pm on Saturday, April 17 and attended by just 30 guests in keeping with COVID-19 restrictions.

Ahead of the service at St George’s Chapel, the Duke’s body will be transported from the Quadrangle at Windsor Castle to the church in a specially-modified Land Rover the late Duke helped design.

Senior Royal Family members including Prince Charles and Prince William are expected to walk behind the car on the way to St George’s.
