After a lawyer, now identified as Aaron Schlossberg, threatened to call ICE on Spanish-speaking workers, social media erupted; there’s now a GoFund me page to send a Mariachi band to his law office; a congressman is filing a grievance against him with the New York State Bar Association; and more than 8,000 people have signed a petition to get him disbarred. And 1,000 people (so far )say they plan to go to a “Latin Party at Racist Aaron Schlossberg’s Midtown office” on Friday, according to Facebook. This is how we react to hate speech in the USofA.
