For the first time since the pandemic, US tourists can once again cross the border into Canada. But before you jump on that plane or hop in the car, there are some requirements to remember.
Travelers will have to submit proof of vaccination and other travel details to the Canadian government’s ArriveCAN platform at least 72 hours before arriving in the country.
For families traveling with children under 12 — who right now can’t be vaccinated — can enter Canada with a fully vaccinated parent or guardian who meets the qualifications.
But the State Department has advised Americans to “reconsider travel” to Canada, among other countries, due to the ongoing pandemic, so you might want to re-think ANY travel at this point.
