In an interesting protest twist, a social media campaign in Britain is trying to make Green Days’ 2004 hit ‘American Idiot’ number 1 in time for Trump’s arrival this Friday.
When Trump’s visit was downgraded from a ‘state visit’ to a ‘working trip’ (much less pomp and circumstance) protesters geared up the campaign.
So far, it appears to be working with So far the effort appears to be working, with the song reaching #18 on the chart Tuesday.
