For years Trump has fought to keep his tax returns private so the ruling Monday by the Supreme Court is a huge blow to the former President — and a big win for Manhattan D.A. Cy Vance Jr.
The New York Prosecutor has signaled he intends to pursue possible tax fraud by Trump and his businesses and reveal the payoffs to Stormy Daniels and others.
The ruling does not make the tax returns public, however.
Trump has called it ‘a fishing expedition’ and ‘a continuation of the witch hunt – the greatest witch hunt in history.’
And this is just the beginning of the litigation against Trump now that he’s not protected by the Presidency.
