Rudy Giuliani, personal lawyer to President Trump after his previous attorney, Michael Cohen was found guilty on a multitude of charges, announced that once he has finished the ‘clean up’ from the Mueller investigation he would step down.
Tellingly, he stated that he would ‘likely stay on the team’ if Trump asked him to, but claimed he had plenty of other projects which keep him ‘pretty busy.’ Uh-huh.
Don’t count on Trump asking him to stay, not after Giuliani’s off-the-rails press conferences, or all the times he said he was speaking for Trump and they had to walk it back. Even Trump must have realized the old politician is a liability and not an asset (though the same can be said about the President of the U.S.)
