Just in from Boston: Felicity Huffman has agreed to plead guilty for her role in the college bribery scam. Along with 14 other parents who have also chosen to plead guilty, she could receive the maximum sentence of 20 years in prison, three years supervised release and a fine of $250,000.

 

In her statement, the actress said she was ‘ashamed of the pain I have caused my daughter, my family, my friends, my colleagues, and the educational community. ‘ Huffman also apologized to all the other students and parents, writing:

 ‘I am ashamed… I want to apologize to the students who work hard every day to get into college, and to their parents who make tremendous sacrifices to support their children and do so honestly
