JUST IN: President Biden plans to nominate Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti to serve as ambassador to India.
You’ll remember that Garcetti was a big supporter of Biden during the Presidential campaign, even serving as his national co-chair and was also part of the team vetting V.P. choices.
Garcetti, in a statement announcing his appointment, said he loves Los Angeles and “will always be an Angeleno.”
