In a Philly courtroom today, the sentencing for Bill Cosby kicks off today, with the disgraced comedian facing three counts of aggravated indecent assault against Andrea Constand.
As you’ll remember, Cosby, 81, was accused by Constand, 45, of drugging and assaulting her when she visited his home in Pennsylvania for career advice in 2004.
With a verdict expected soon, Cosby could be facing up to 30 years in state prison with each count carrying a maximum of ten years behind bars, and a minimum of 22 months.
Given Cosby’s advanced age, his legal team will probably fight for home detention. One wonders how not being able to make a Costco run is enough of a punishment?
