The story so far…

So the QAnon Shaman, he of the horns and Davey Crocket hat,  went on 60 Minutes to complain that he was just at the Capitol riot to ‘keep the peace’ and wasn’t really armed (though he is holding a spear in all the photos.)

The judge in the case threw the proverbial book at him:

“The statements defendant has made to the public from jail show that defendant does not fully appreciate the severity of the allegations against him,” Lamberth wrote. “To the contrary, he believes that he — not the American people or members of Congress — was the victim on January 6th.”

US District Judge Royce C. Lamberth not only denied Chansley’s motion for release but wrote that he  rejected his arguments as “meritless,” “mistaken” and “so frivolous as to insult the Court’s intelligence.”

Take that.
