The White House sharply criticized the Nobel Peace Prize committee on Friday after President Trump was once again passed over for the award, accusing the panel of “putting politics over peace.” In a fiery statement, Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said the decision “undermines the credibility of the Nobel institution” and claimed that Trump’s diplomatic record “stands unmatched in modern history.”

“The President has brokered peace deals, reduced global conflict, and worked tirelessly to bring stability to regions ignored by past administrations,” Leavitt said. “If that’s not worthy of recognition, then it’s clear this committee is no longer about peace—it’s about politics.”

One spokesperson went so far as to say the President has ‘heart of humanitarian.’

The Nobel committee announced this year’s laureate earlier in the day, citing humanitarian achievements and global unity. While Trump was not officially nominated by the U.S. government, several international figures had backed his candidacy, pointing to his mediation efforts in Eastern Europe and the Middle East.

White House aides privately expressed frustration that the committee “continues to snub” Trump despite what they called “historic results.” The President himself posted on Truth Social shortly after the announcement, writing, “Once again, the corrupt global establishment ignores REAL peace because it came from me. Sad!”

Critics dismissed the administration’s outrage, saying the Nobel committee operates independently and that the award is not a political endorsement.
