The last (?) episode of the hit show Ted Lasso features a touching ballad written by Ed Sheeran entitled, “A Beautiful Game.” It was a fitting ending to a heartwarming show. (Who knew Sheeran was such a big football fan?)
“Though we’ve not reached the end/ We should take some time apart/ Leave here with no regrets/ Knowing we gave our all,” Sheeran sings in the first verse of the tune which certainly hints that this is the end of the beloved show.
